This post is all about Face, Body and Hair Products that I regret buying. I've horded onto these products for far too long. It's time to let them go. If you haven't already, check out the first part of this post please click here. Onward! The regrets continue!
Palladio - Oil Absorbing Rice Paper Tissues with Rice Powder
These seemed promising and had some good reviews. The issue I had with these is that it was hard to control the powder that deposited on your face from the sheets. This just wasn't wroth the hassle to me.
Boots - Beautifully Matte Make Up Base
This is a white primer that gives a white overcast to the face. This stuff also dries really quickly and because of that it gives a not so smooth application with most of my foundations. This just didn't do anything positive for my foundation. Very unflattering.
Ddf - Mattifying Oil Control SPF 15
This does absolutely nothing in the magnifying department. If anything this made me more oily. It also has a very strong sunblock scent.
Ddf - Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5%
This broke me out, horribly!! It took months for my skin to recover. Never again will I try benzoyl peroxide products. This may have been way too harsh for my skin.
Nyx Cosmetics - Tea Tree/Matte Blotting Paper
Both blotting paper were horrible. It removed more makeup than oil. Not much more to say.
Garnier - Clean+ Shine Control Cleansing Gel
When this hit the shelves I jumped on this. It's an affordable cleanser with charcoal to remove impurities and to help mattify the skin. For a while this was working great then... not so much. It started to break me out. I think it has something to do with the fragrance. Face products should never have fragrances in the ingredient list! That bothers me.
Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash
This product really turned me off to cream cleansers. This just isn't great for my skin type. It also didn't pair up well with my Clarisonic. It would leave a residue build up on my brush heads that I didn't enjoy. I found this actually did what it claimed but the build up on my Clarisonic was the deal breaker.
The Body Shop - Tea Tree Exfoliating Wash (Discontinued)
This didn't exfoliate or reduce blackheads. There's no sugar coating, this is a horrible horrible evil exfoliating wash. The little exfoliating bits were very hard. So hard that one got into my eye and popped a blood vessel... it was a horrible experience. It took weeks for it to clear up. I am so glad this has been discounted. I should have burnt this with fire.
St Ives - Invigorating Apricot Scrub
I needed a new face scrub and I want to try something cheaper. Thought maybe I could find a hidden gem in the drugstore... nope. This was horrible. It did nothing in the exfoliating department.
Lush - Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
I may got alot of slack about this but I don't understand the hype with this product. I think this smells horrible. It smells sour or spoiled to me. I have used other body conditioners from Lush, which I enjoy.
Lush - Superbalm
I was going through a period in my life where my scalp was extremely dry and prone to dandruff. I went to Lush and they suggest this. This may be decent if you have really short to no hair at all..? Trying to get this product on your scalp is almost impossible without getting it all on your hair. And this stuff is pack full of oils so it makes your hair extremely greasy and leaves an layer of residue. It was awful. Lush isn't close to me so returning products just isn't wroth the drive and price in gas. This was the first time a Lush associate steered me wrong.
