Review/Swatches: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette
Another goodie I snatched up during the Sephora VIB sale. This product was somewhat hidden in the store. It was in the aisle of doom with all the mini products (they get me every time). I've haven't really tried many products from the Sephora Collection.
SEPHORA COLLECTION: Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette ($15)
This palette contains two blush shades and a bronzer. All the shades in the palette are matte, which immediately drew me in. I do want to point out that the colors you see online show much dark versus what you really get. Because of this I was a little disappointed. I feel like this palette would be prefect for with someone with a lighter skin tone then myself. The bronzer barely works for me. Right now since it's winter the bronzer is usable, but once summer comes, this won't perform well. My favorite shade of the bunch is the last shade, Coral Punch. Coral Punch is bold coral almost bordering on red. It's unique. I don't have many other blushes that duplicates this.
The color pay of these blushes are manageable. Nothing too pigmented. Which could be a good thing. You don't have to worry about getting too much product on your brush. You might have to go back in a few times to get your deserved intensity.
The size of this product is about the size of a candy bar. It's a sleek black and very prone to finger prints. Another disappointment is in how the product opens. It somewhat difficult at first but once you learn how to open it, it becomes easier (or this could just be me). This is definitely not manicure friendly packaging.
All and all, not my favorite purchase. Considering I only really enjoy one out the three shades, I'm not sure if its wroth it for me. $15 is an amazing price point, especially if all these colors preform well for you.
Thanks for looking/reading~
