So I've been hoarding all the products that I have used up since about... March, or so? Just a little long to be holding onto essentially trash or recyclables, however you want to look at it. Next time I won't hold onto 22 items at once. I'll make it a more manageable number like 5 or 10! ;)
Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, I will be giving my mini review on each item:
- Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes - These are my all time favorite facial wipes and I've gone through at least 4-5 packages of these. They have a very fresh scent and are very soothing on the face. I use these to remove make up or to wipe my face after a workout. I have already repurchased this item, it's definitely a staple in my routine.
- Too Faced Primed and Poreless - This primer was the sample size version I got in the check out line at ULTA. I'm always up for trying out new primers. I gotta to say, I really really liked this primer. It helped wonderfully with controlling the oil in my T-zone and minimizing pores. It reminded me of Benefit's Porefessional with a little more thickness to it. The only thing I did not like about this product was the smell. It smelled like brunt rubber/plastic. The smell doesn't linger for long, so it's something I can deal with. This is a product I would most definitely repurchase in the future. AT this time I just have too many primers that I'm testing out.
- The Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub - I absolutely fell in love with the scent of this product. I only got the sample size of this but I wish I got the full size. I went through it much quicker than anticipated. This was a wonderful treat to have, especially for the summer. Would definitely purchase again.
- Lush Handy Gurugu - If you love hand creams, lemme tell ya, this stuff is the bee's knees. It seriously is the best hand cream I have ever used. It took me a year to go through this whole tub (I have to say, I am quiet proud of myself). I mostly use this + Lemony Flutter after freshly applied manicures. This hand cream is also great for slaughtering on before going to bed. My hands would always feel baby skin soft in the morning. The other wonderful thing I would like to mention is the smell. It has a very earthy-herbal like scent; very relaxing and calming. It was soothing to have my on hands as I was falling asleep. I have yet to repurchase this because I have so many hand creams/lotions it's ridiculous... I'm trying to be responsible and use those up first... but it's hard!
- Lush Blousey - One of Lush's newest shampoos. I have been wanting a sulfate free shampoo from Lush for forever and they finally delivered. It's a very interesting product and can be hard to manage if you aren't used to sulfate free shampoos. This isn't something you slap on your head and lather up like any normal shampoo. What I do is take a decent size amount and work it into the roots of my hair, massage, and pull it through After I feel I've gotten the coverage I want, I rinse. Then I take another small amount of the shampoo, apply, and this is where you will finally get that lather in shampoos that we are all used too. I lather then rinse a second time and apply my conditioner (Lush American Cream Conditioner). My most favorite thing about this shampoo is the wonderful scent of bananas, mmm. :) I have already repurchased this item and am still loving it.
- Sugar Fresh Lip Treatment - This product was such a pleasant surprise. I received it as the Sephora Birthday gift from last year and didn't start using it till recently. Let me tell ya, BEST LIP BALM EVER. It looks amazing on the lips, the scent is citrus-y, lasts on the lips for a decent amount of time, and it actually hydrates the lips. It has restored my faith and love for lip balm products. I feel most stuff out they just made my lips ever more chapped. I am super happy I gave this product a chance. Only down sides are: 1. The cost 2. The product doesn't stand up well to any type of heat; very melty. I have yet to repurchase this but I may in the future as a treat.
- Lush Charity Pot - This is a hand and body lotion from Lush where 100% of the purchase goes to support organizations that align with Lush's ethics. I was big fan of the cause but not so much the lotion. The smell and consistency of the lotion reminded me of sun block. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Not something I would repurchase.
- Downy Wrinkle Releaser - I know this is kinda a random product but I feel the need to share it with the WOOOOORLD! I can only seem to find this item in the travel section in stores and it is very helpful for travel but it's also great for everyday use. It works very well on thinner fabrics like blouses, t-shirts, etc. What you do it spray this where the winkles are, use your hands like an iron to flatten out the winkles, then give the fabric a gentle couple tugs. You can do it while the clothes are on you or the hanger. It's great for those items you want to wear but have been in the back of the closet or bottom of your drawer. It's also a nice scent boost to clothes as well! I hate ironing and this product just encourages me not to iron. I freaking love it!
- The Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower Mini Shower Gel -
This shower gel had a very different scent. Very oriental vanilla scent. I did enjoy it well it lasted but it wasn't a favorite. I don't think I would repurchase. - Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - I used this is combo with the Neutrogena Oil-Free Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. One day I would use the Pore Cleanser, the next day I would use the Acne wash. One had benzoyl peroxide and the other had salicylic acid. So it was a nice balance. I enjoyed this product and felt it did help. I however, never used the product as a mask, so I can't comment on that. I would repurchase this again!
- Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush - This is my favorite dry shampoo but ever since I discovered the Wild scent, I only buy the Blush scent if they are out of the Wild. It's still just as good, but I love the Wild scent more. I have mentioned this dry shampoo's in this and this haul.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo in Wild - Again, this my my favorite dry shampoo and scent! Batiste makes a couple other scented dry shampoos but the Wild is definitely my favorite. It has a musky like scent which I looooooooove. I repurchase this all the time.
- Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub - Have purchased this many many many times and this stuff has always worked very well for me. It's always a repurchase item that I can get just about anywhere.
- Clinique Exfoliating Scrub - I have oily skin and exfoliation is a big part of my skin care routine. This is the best exfoliator I have found for my skin type. Every other exfoliators I have found just aren't grainy enough (if that makes sense). This exfoliator has alot of partials to it and provides a good deep scrubbing where with others don't measure up. It kind of has a cooling menthol/minty feel/smell to it, which is refreshing!
- Lush Grease Lightning - This is an excellent spot treatment product. It isn't drying or heavy. I don't really use the during the day but I will use it at night before going to bed and it definitely yield results. Although, I wouldn't expect fast drastic over night results but you will notice a difference the next day. I will sometimes use this all over the face. Not just on certain spots or areas. Definitely a staple item in my skin care routine. I love love love this stuff! NOTE: For some reason Grease Lightning isn't showing up on Lush's USA site. I don't know if that's a fluke or what...
- Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods Mini Shower Gel- Loved the scent, I enjoy BBWs shower gel. I'm super fond of musky type scents, which this had.
- Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber Shower Gel - Probably my all type favorite scent at BBWs. Very musky, I love it!
- Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Mini Shower Gel - A recent discovery at BBWs. They had this during the semi annual sale and omg, I was hooked. I went online and bought the lotion and the body spray. It's musky and fruity at the same time. LOVE it!
- Lush American Cream Conditioner - This conditioner is my favorite ever! It leaves my hair feeling smooth and silky and it doesn't weight it down. I has a very retro vanilla scent, which I just adore. Both my boyfriend and I use this conditioner, so we go through it pretty quickly. This is always a rebuy for us!
- Urban Decay Deslick - They restyled the packaging on this product. Not really digging the white because white is just begging to get dirty. But the product has stayed the same. It's just an amazing little bottle of wonder. I notice a difference in the lasting effect in my makeup when I don't wear this. It's something I just can't go the day without. Even if I'm not wearing makeup, I will use this. I use this before I apply my make up and after. As soon as I'm getting low, I have a back up of this ready to go~
- Lush Tea Tree Water - I used this as my end of the day cleanser. I love it. It's very smoothing. I've gone throught 3 bottles already. I've been obessed with anything tea tree products. This works very well hand and hand with Lush Grease Lightning.
- Bath & Body Works True Blue Mini Foot Scrub - Loved the scent of this product. Had a very cooling menthol/minty feel/smell to it, similar to the Clinique Exfoliating Facial Scrub. I would often forgot I had this, so even though this is a mini size, it took me a whole to go through this. Haven't really bought it again, because (I'm going to put this out there) foot care isn't a big part of my beauty/everyday routine. I do wash my feet, don't get me wrong! But I'm not down there pampering it like I do my hands. I dunno, that's just me.
Whooooa-Nelly that was alot of products/reviews. If you have made it to the end, congratulations! Your prize?
My love and gratiuite.
I love yooooou. <3
You're welcome.
On a more serious note, thank you! Really, thank you for looking/reading. :) Next time a post like this will not be this long. I will make sure to limit myself... or maybe type less...? Or something!! Haha, who knows!
