7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

Follow me on instagram @devonstinson

I wasn't really tagged but I thought this would be fun to do! I watched missglamorazzi's video on this tag and I thought I would give it a try! :)

THE QUESTIONS!

GREED
What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

Most inexpensive? Elf Lipstick in Classy. It was a whole 1 dollar. Which has amazing color pay off and is long lasting. I love it!
Most expensive? Lush Gorgeous Facial Moisturizer retailing at 89.95... I actually did not buy this for myself. I asked for it for a Christmas gift and I've used every last drop of it (just recently too). Amazing moisturizer, I could not even begin to describe how amazing this is but I will be on the hunt for something as great but less expensive..

WRATH
What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Eyeliner!! I am terrible at applying eyeliner. I just can't do it!! :( But I love how it looks on other people.
(My only eyeliners are shown below)
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, NYX Retractable Eyeliner, and Milani Liquif'Eye

GLUTTONY
What are your most delicious beauty products?
SLOTH
What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Eye shadows for sure! I have amazing palettes and brushes but I feel other products in my routine take priority. So if I don't have the time to do eye makeup I will avoid it. I don't know why because I have many beautiful shadows that I could just sweep across the lids and be done but still I neglect it...

PRIDE
What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Most definitely foundation. I could walk out of the house with just foundation and feel ten times more confident versus wearing nothing on my face. Even a powder foundation will significantly  boost my self confidence.
(My favorite foundations are shown below.)

LUST
What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Psychically? Glasses and facial hair... *drools*
Personality wise? Needs to have a simiilar sense of humor to myself. A guy that can make me smile is a winner.

ENVY
What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
It's hard for me to spend a good chuck of money on one product for myself. So as gifts I like receiving higher-end make up for my birthday or Christmas. Things I usually would not buy myself.

A couple products I've been eying is the Doir Amber Diamond and Chanel Perfection Lumiere.

That's it for the tag! Thanks for looking/reading~

NYX Matte Bronzer Review

Follow me on instagram @devonstinson

NYX Matte Bronzer (shade Medium (MBB03) has definitely started to become my new favorite bronzer. It doesn't appear orange-y and is very wearable for my skin tone. The thing I LOVE most about this product is that it's matte. Great for contouring or supplying that sun kissed glow on the skin without looking like a disco-ball. I also like to use my bronzer as an eye shadow and this preforms very well. It lasts all day and is super affordable. You get alot of product for you money. A little bit of this bronzer goes a loooong way. Soooo... it's very easy to over due it, if you're not careful! The packaging is simplistic and clean. The box it came in was unnecessarily larger than the product but whatever! ;)

Drug Store Haul!!!

Follow me on instagram @devonstinson

I may have picked up a few goodies from Target and Walgreens. I swear, YouTube is such an bad influence on me! Half the stuff I bought was because I watched a review on YouTube about it, haha!

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous
I've heard just so many good things about this foundation. I was first turned on to this product my a first impression video by itsjudytime. It claims to be a 3 in 1 product. "Lasting power of primer, coverage of a concealer, and dependability of foundation in one." The shade I picked was medium beige (842) which works very well color wise for me. The product itself actually worked very well with me and my oily skin. It's nothing miraculous but does deserve some applause! I still used a primer and a concealer but this could definitely be built up to the point where concealer isn't necessary. I have acne scaring and discoloration, so it's always hard for me to find a foundation that honestly covers "everything". Lately, I love love love the fact that this has a pump.

Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes
I've seen commercials and advertisements everywhere for this. I'm not a huge eye make up person. I usually avoid mascara but I was drawn to this. I ended up picking the waterproof brownish black. I'm excited for the concept of two wands, one for upper lashes and one for bottom. I've been trying it for a while and I am so glad I did. It not too unnatural and the brownish black is exactly what I was wanting. The only think I dislike about this is how little product you get because it has to be shared with 2 wands. Other than that, I love this!

Ardell Brow Trim and Shape
I needed some new brow razors. The ones I have are just super ooooooold. Nothing too special about these. I just picked up what was available.

St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub
I was in need for a new face scrub. I didn't want to drop alot of money on something new so I ended up getting the St. Ives facial scrub. Although... after I tied this, I just was not a fan. It was too creamy and there wasn't enough scrub. The product itself left my skin feeling as if there was a coating of  residue...The previous facial scrub I used was Clinique Exfoliating Scrub. After trying the St. Ives I went straight back to the Clinique.

Revlon Lip Butters: (Left to right) 025 Peach Parfait, 050 Berry Smoothie, 085 Sugar Plum, 001 Pink Truffle

In this haul I become a little obsessed with the lip butters. I forgot how awesome they were! So I picked up some more wearable everyday pink/nude shades.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush (left to right) Light Rose, Deep Coral, Medium Coral, Deep Wine
Maybelline came out with some new blushes! I may have gone a little crazy... I love me some blushes!

Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil Free Foundation - Natural Beige 60

Last but not least I picked up this foundation. AGAIN, I watched a first impression video of this by itsjudytime and became instantly interested. It's a great 4-5 hour wear foundation for my oily skin skin and it's great to know is has acne treatment built into the foundation.

Annnnnd that's everything. Thanks for looking/reading~

Empties #1

So I've been hoarding all the products that I have used up since about... March, or so? Just a little long to be holding onto essentially trash or recyclables, however you want to look at it. Next time I won't hold onto 22 items at once. I'll make it a more manageable number like 5 or 10! ;)
