I am obsessed with Benefit's box powders. So when I heard they were coming out with the Rockateur, naturally I latched on! When I first opened the box and looked at the product inside, the shimmer was the first thing I noticed. Not gonna lie, I was a bit worried but I decided to still give it a shot. I don't like shimmer when it comes to my face products, they tend to make me look more oily. I was pleasantly surprised because when I did apply it I barely noticed the shimmer. It comes of as a nice rosey pinky blush. Very natural, buildable, and great for every day.

Another thing I noticed was a small hint of fragrance, which all Benefit box powders seem to have. It's very faint and doesn't irritant my skin at all. Like all box powders, the blush does come with a small blush applicator which isn't the best but isn't really terrible either. I can see it being useful for on the go.

The last thing I would like to point out is the price... which is 28 dollars. All of the Benefit box powders are this price but that can be a big deciding factor for alot of people. I wouldn't say this is a revolutionary blush BUT it is an amazing go-to blush color for any look and for everyday. Because of that I believe, it's wroth the price.

Benefit - Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer Review

There has been so much hype going around the beauty world about this 15-hour Primer, which  made me a bit skeptical but interested in trying this. I’ve been using it everyday for the past month or so and this is what I think of it so far.

The stick-like design makes it stupid easy to apply although, I feel like I’m applying a glue stick to my face (which is honestly kinda fun). And the packaging is really cute! After applying the product I use my fingers to smooth it out. It’s hard to explain how this product feels on the skin. It feels nice and silky but at the same time kinda tracky…? I’ve been using medium coverage matte foundations. I’ve used both a sponge or a brush when applying my foundation while using this product.

My final thoughts about this product: it’s not wroth the hype. It’s an average to good primer. It could be better but it’s not terrible. My makeup does last longer with the primer vs without but it’s no where near 15 hours. I have combination to oily skin, so I’m sure that plays a big role. I honestly get just as good if not better, longevity (with my make up) with the Benefit POREfessional. One big con for me that I did notice was because of the design of the packaging (glue-stick design), you tend to use more of the product, quicker. Primers in a tube for me last at least 3-4 months. This primer is almost out and I’ve been using it for maybe 5-6 weeks.

NYX - Sweet Honey Box Set

I found this lovely set at Marshall for only 19.99. These are the goodies that came in the set and some of my first impressions. Alot of these items are fall friendly which is exciting since summer is coming to an end.

NYX Cosmetics Tango with Bronzer Stick

This bronzing stick looks amazing! It's very shimmery so I don't know how well this would work with me and my oily skin. Other than that, it looks beautiful.

NYX Cosmetics Mosaic Blush Powder in Plummy

Gives a beautiful mauvey-pink finish when you swirl the colors. I love products like this with the multiple colors!

Pure Skin would be a wonderful highlighter color and Walnut looks like a amazing all over the lid color. Very excited about these!

Olordy, this puppy is just so glamorous. Too glamorous for me. I can not pull  this lip gloss off by it's self. Maybe layered over something? But this lip gloss smells amazing!

Triple Eye Shadows are apparently 'for sexy eyes only'. So don't you go wearing this if your eyes aren't sexy now. Seriously tho', these would be lovely eye shadows for fall.

I am terrible when it comes to applying eyeliner but it's nice that this set came with a basic black and brown. So maybe one day when I become a master, I'll be ready. The other 2 pencils are lip liners and I'm excited for these because I do not have any! I've heard that they are supposed to help your lip color last longer, so we will see. These are great neutral colors.
